Where's the snow!

Dear diary. It is now almost the end of Jan. and I have yet to throw a Big @SS snowball at Britani and those two little black cats she owns that puke hairballs every where. Where is the snow! :( At least its 40 out which reminds me of warm summer days on the beach  with my 6-pack.

We arrived Thursday morning, Jan 19 a little before noon and wasted no time getting the fun/gambling/dancing started 

We left Monday, Jan 23 early.... we were at the airport by 5ish IN THE FREAKIN' MORNING and got back to MKE around 3:30pm. That made for a bit of a long day. I feel like maybe someone else should be in charge of booking the tickets next time; it's obviously not one of my strengths

Here's a fun fact: If you start accepting the stripper cards handed out on the street corners by the little foreign men wearing neon colored shirts reading "girls to your room in 20 mins," they will all flock to you quicker than a pack of seagulls going after a homeless guy in the McDonald's parking lot. I've seen it happen. And they will all give you handfuls of stripper cards. Why? Because it's what those little stinkers do.

Here's another fun tidbit: Those suckers are great for throwing in the air; throwing out your window; and general sticking in random places. Because what am I going to do with stripper cards? Have a girl to my room in 20 mins? Not my style, not my style at all little foreign hooker card hander-outers. I'd rather leave a neat little pile outside the door of the high school soccer team (?) that was only a few doors down... I feel like they would appreciate them more.

I did not realize how sleep deprived I was until I slept for 13+ hours the day we got back. Passed out, dead to the world, I-think-I-should-be-hooked-up-to-an IV-and-have-a-muscular-doctor-monitoring-me sleep deprived.  You win this time, Vegas.

i live in the present

I sleep on my tummy, which means I get passionate about things, can be selfish and take over the whole bed while stealing the covers, and if I don't get enough sleep I'm in a bad mood. duh. I could have told you I'm a bed ninja who wraps herself in a blanket cocoon nightly, kicks the kitties, and will be in one stale mood if sleep deprived.

and I am bored with this. let's find something else non-productive to do with my time.

of course there are more than 50 things, and of course i can't think of anything that is currently on my mental bucket list. it must be the quarter-timers kicking in..... thank goodness i'm trying to write it all down before i have completely lost my marbles

2011 recap

In true summary style, some of the things of 2011:

• Fort Myers Beach, Sanibel Island, and Captiva Island last minute trip
• watch the Packers win the Super Bowl!!
• Mardi Gras in New Orleans
• Amelia Island with the Schulze clan.... Brit met her 2 little German cousins for the first time
• Brit takes her first solo flight to Vegas to meet up with Ben
• very tiny mini-roadtrip to Mall of America to get suits for Ben and TJ....and find bridesmaid dresses...all in a days work!
• saw Mummies exhibit at the Milwaukee Public Museum
• Phil Vassar @ Summerfest
• BRITNEY SPEARS bachelorette party at Summerfest.... simply amazing.
• weekend trip to Nashville with Jessica and Brianna
• mini-moon to Winter, WI
• Brewer's playoff games
• up north trip with Schulzes
• brit takes a hot air balloon ride (checking off that life to do list)
• day trip date day to the zoo
• went up to Green Bay for the Packer's season home opener game. proceeded to be on the NFL Network AND Man vs Food. hollerrrr!
• Packers vs Vikings Monday night football game
• we got our very first real live Christmas tree
• Halloween roadtrip to New Orleans... totaled car... night in St. Louis....etc etc

fabulous Las Vegas

I just booked tickets to LAS VEGAS for my 25th birthday!!!
          This girl will be handling her quarter life crisis with fabulous sass!

I'm so excited, I can't stop dancing.... but the judging eyes of these little black kitties may do the trick and make me check myself before I wreck myself

Now I'm going to deep clean my apartment. Ben has been sick and breathing his sickness all over me and I REFUSE to be ill.  Bleach it, bleach it all.
