date weekend

Ben works Monday thru Friday and always has off on the weekends. I work whenever the frick and pretty much always work weekends. Such is life. Since we don't get a lot of time together, the weekends we both have off are date weekends. We pack in as much as we can.....which is pretty awesome

On Sunday, we got up early (in my opinion) and started the day with the Sunday Brunch at Devon in Bayshore. They have such a tasty brunch, I always eat until I can't fit in anything else. Love it.

After brunch, we went to the IPic Theater and watched "The Hunger Games." Ben has been listening to the radio a lot on his commute, and has heard a lot about this movie. So we went to see it. Kinda morbid (kids fighting/killing other kids while the world watches...) but still made you want to watch. Maybe we'll locate and read the book next.

We walked around for a little bit since it was so nice, and then went home to do our laundry/dishes/spring cleaning.Then we made dinner and busted out the ice cream and berry weiss beer and Netflixed the night away.
