This last Saturday was Cinco de Mayo. We got together with my mom and dad and went out for the Sprecher Brewery Tour in the Bayshore area. Ben and I didn't realize that Sprecher did more than amazing root beer..... and at the end of the tour we were able to taste test 4 different brews. I tried the Mai Bock, Special Amber, Witty and Abbey Triple (twice...because that's how you do). Abbey Triple was the best
After the tour, we headed to Bar Louis for some food. The Kentucky Derby was on..... Side note: If I didn't have a stinkin' mandatory work meeting Sunday, we would have been there ourselves. I would have worn a ridiculously large hat and Ben would have worn some sassy suspenders. But such is life. Anyways, some horse named "I'll have another" won. Which got me thinking that I'm going to be naming our next fish "make it a double."
Then my parents stopped by our apartment to see Paris & Nicole (they're real popular; there's the links to their facebook pages. yeeeah.). They tried some of our homemade beer, too. The bottle we tried wasn't as watery beer tasting.....which means we are incredible brew masters, obviously.

Last night was a mini-date night. Ben and I went to the moving picture show.........it sounds more romantic that way............and saw The Avengers. Fun movie!! The Hulk, Black Widow, Captain America, and Iron Man all together in one movie?! All geeks rejoice.
