invites & cereal

I don't work today, so today is a day devoted to making some headway with wedding planning.... honest.

As I sit here with my bowl of Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal that I am eating from a square tupperware container (time to do some dishes?), I realize that there are about 52 gagillion things that I would rather be doing than sitting in my apartment googling bridesmaid dresses that don't look like a 1980's high school prom disaster or breaking down our budget. What WAS our budget again Ben?? I don't do numbers.

I wish Ben was here to throw around ideas with me. It's more fun that way. Otherwise, it's phone calls and delayed responses because he's at work or I'm at work....... one day we will have consecutive days off together. We will be 78 and 80 years old, but I'm going to totally own it.

- dress ordered
- Ben's ring sized & paid for
- Britani's rings sized & paid for
- ceremony location
- reception location
- food tasted & menu selected
- save the dates sent
- wedding party set
- met with florist
- dj...
- invitations ordered (as of today!)
- 2 sessions of premarital meetings w/ pastor
- Pastor Rath to officiate the whole shebang
- I'm sure there's other stuff too. I'm sure of it.


THINGS [ALMOST] ACCOMPLISHED:
- photographer
- engagement pictures
- escort cards/ place cards
- registering
- suits for Ben and dad
