so long 2010

we did a lot of fun stuff in 2010. RECAP!

-- mardis gras roadtrip
-- pensacola, fl schulze family roadtrip
-- vegas!
-- niagara falls, ny roadtrip through wine country
-- got ENGAGED!!!!!!!
-- brit got a new car & a new job
-- cedar point amusement park for ben's 25th birthday
-- packer game! & tent tailgating in the kmart parking lot.... where ben may have climbed onto the roof to retrieve a lost football
-- new apartment

& there was a bunch of other stuff too..... like jim gaffigan grabbing brit's butt, getting kicked out of a chicago hotel, etc


anyways, 2011 should be terrific.
-- it's the year we are getting married and having an obnoxious partay
-- other stuff is going to happen that will be amazing.........like adventures and roadtrips and general tomfoolery

sicky sick

Ben is currenly finishing up a tough battle with the common cold. The runny nose, scratchy throat, sick boy drama was..... intense. He is doing better now, with the help of various medication and vitamins. HOWEVER, I seem to be a casualty of this little war, with the runny nose and dry throat steadily invading my personal space. Ooh snap.

I feel like I should be stressing out more about the wedding.... or maybe not stressing but overly concerned about everything.... or not overly concerned but more..... bridezilla. We have 9 months to go, so we'll see how worked up I get about this thing as each month passes.

hot tub time machine

Ben and I like to sit in the hot tub at my apartment and drink frozen margaritas from a bucket in the freezer. Obviously, we are meant for each other-- hot tubs and frozen margaritas only establish that further.



I really don't like how it is getting dark so early.... but I absolutely LOVE that Christmas is coming up fast!! I already did some decorating, and I'm in the market for a tree. I'm sure our kitties Paris & Nicole are excited for a Christmas tree, too. They tend to be really hands on and re-decorate the tree every night. So helpful.

Britani broke the scanner

True story. We went to register at Kohls last night and Britani got scan happy. She started scanning everything in the store and then proceeds to scan her @$$... Well anyways as soon as she did that the scanner broke and we had to get a new one and start all over... :'(

TITLETOWN

Last night Ben and I went to the Packers vs Cowboy game. I was extremely excited, and had a blast!! The Packers kicked some serious butt, which made it a really fun game to be at. Plus, the 2 hour drive sort of helped out my road trip need... sort of.

in other news:

we need to find a caterer... dj... table linens... a wedding dress... bridesmaid dresses... flowers... invites... a photographer... do our wedding registry... take some engagement pictures... figure out a guest list... find decorations/centerpieces... ya know, basically everything. we do have 10 months to go though :)

well.... it all started out with a little question and a little answer. and since those early hours of july 5, 2010, we started on the adventure of a lifetime...... getting married. (dun dun duuuuun)


it's already been a lot of fun, and we wanted a way to chronicle the craziness that this next year is going to bring as we plan our trip to the altar. so let's do this thing!!
